DIARY OF A GHOST HUNTER

 Boom - I went down. I was hoping that I could keep going through these last days of epic craziness but I finally got to a point where my body said STOP IT. When I crash and burn I get vertigo. Everything begins to spin and I have to go to be in a darkened room and medicate heavily. This is the way my body tells me that I have overdone it. I finally got out of bed today at 7.30pm and made myself get downstairs and have something to eat and shower. It's a terrible feeling and totally debilitating when it happens. Right now I cannot afford to spend time doing nothing and this is what I was forced to do today. So I have nothing to report. We have had more merchandise orders come in - T shirts and hoodies arrived at my front door today and I cannot even deliver them to Anne to be posted.  Today is one day closer.... I know. I have already said that but it's true. I cannot wait to leave now and stop running around. I worked in the shop at WITCH AND WILLOW AT WARNERS BAY until about 3pm. I have to thank Kellie so much - we are facing a lot of costs involved with my husbands health issues and are really in a bad spot financially so when she offered me two days a week I grabbed it with much gratefulness. I am hoping that at some point this year I can really get onto another level financially as it's been really tough for us. Then after work I went straight to NEWCASTLE LIVE RADIO studio for a photo shoot as they have changed their branding and are now really starting to promote the radio station. Everyone in the studio was getting head shots, not just us, and it was a lot of fun. I do absolutely hate having my photograph taken. I have never really liked being in front of the camera, but I chose this road so now I have to pull on my big girl panties and feel ok abo

 Today is Monday 28th March 2022. This means that next week at this time I will be on a plane,with Anne, heading out of the country, finally, after two years and heading to England for the first leg of our Nice and Haunted UK Road Trip . I am so very excited. Fifteen hour days have been exhausting, but, I am one lucky old duck being able to live my best life right now. I am trying to take every opportunity that comes my way. Last night we finished our final live SPOOKY SUNDAYS radio show on Newcastle Live Radio before departure. We have been crazily pre recording shows to cover the four weeks that we are away and now all of our 32 episodes thus far are on SPOTIFY AND ITUNES as podcasts. WOW . Just so thrilled with our efforts in showing up for that every single week.   I started today by doing a recording in my car on the way to Anne's place to go live on the SPIRIT REALM NETWORK in America and of course I cannot work out how to upload to to my supporters Facebook page.  So I am back on to Blogger to write down my thoughts. Today has been off the charts busy with another 15 hour day for us from our Live stream to the end of our Maitland Gaol tour tonight. Currently, I am taking a break from recording another episode for our TRUE HAUNTINGS PODCAST (find the link below), so that we can have something to eat and deal with a lady who is currently experiencing what I can only classify as poltergeist activity. We have spoken to her and we have looked at what the causes of this activity might be and we will need some time to sit and talk more how we can help her help herself in this particular situation. All these situations are so different and any consultation is difficult because we cannot underestimate what we are really dealing with and we cannot

We still have a full schedule to complete before we finally leave Australia for our working holiday. Yesterday it was a 12 hour day with Isaac Butterfield and LilDixon to film an episode of Devil's Advocate ( his video series on the paranormal) which was being done at Maitland Gaol. We introduced the pair to some of the areas of the Gaol that they had not filmed in last time. We tried to give the experiments over to them both as, in the end THEY are the stars of the show and not us. So we took them into the SHOWER BLOCK and they spent some time in there alone. They used to night vision cameras to capture their experiences. We then went into the kitchen space where the most trusted prisoners were confined in a type of solitary area as they worked with the food that was served to the rest of the prison population. They had to be kept separate so that they were not bribed. They also handled sharp instruments and there could be no risk at having those sort of items get into the rest of

 It's only 14 days until we head overseas to the UK. Last night we were out at Wollombi, NSW, for a ghost tour with a bunch of amazing humans.  I put up a last minute pop up event and we had enough jump on to run the tour.  I DO love Wollombi - it's just over an hour's drive from where I live and really a beautiful little village that seems trapped in a time warp. During this tour we take in the Museum building, the Church and the Cemetery and we ALWAYS go overtime. We normally do a spirit box session in the Church, as it's the most comfortable spot for it and it seems to have a good track record of responses. We build a connection over time and the spirits know where to come! Well, that's my theory. This weekend we had a very strong communication that was very much focused on our trip away.   It's been a long time since I have gotten back to blogging but as I am about to embark on a month long working holiday to England, Scotland and Ireland I thought I'd add to the work load by putting down my thoughts on the whole crazy preparation going on behind the scenes right now. With just 17 days to go the sh#t is hitting the fan. You would think that after two years of having to sit back and watch my life slowly sail away into the sunset I would have been prepared for an overseas trip when the time finally arrived. But no, I'm still leaving everything to the last minute because currently the world is still in a manic state of chaos.
