It is rumored that the ghost which caused such a rumpus in ABERDARE Street some months ago is again 'walking'.
The ghost was seen in South Cessnock last week and a young woman was almost frightened to death.
It was said that the ghost also appeared at the boarding house in town.
At 1am the ghost paraded the verandah, occasionally looking through the windows. One boarder, whom he saw the "face at the window" fainted and when another endeavoured to throw a boot at the apparition, his arm dropped to his side as if shot.

I am a Ghost Hunter and Paranormal Investigator and I have a passion for researching local ghost stories and weird and bizarre myths and legends from Newcastle and the Hunter Valley where I Iive.
I hope to share a story with you every day, while we are in the grip of Corona Virus lock down, as my ability to do tours and investigations with the public through my business Newcastle Ghost Tours has halted until we are all safe again.
I hope you are enjoying my daily look into the past.
